About the Job

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or above in mathematics, statistics, computer science, industrial engineering, supply chain and logistics, operations research, or another related field.
  • A solid foundation in data structures and algorithm design.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, C++, or R.
  • Proficiency in deep learning, reinforcement learning—especially sequence decision-making and multi-agent reinforcement learning—operations research optimization, including integer and stochastic programming, and large models, including large language model application fine-tuning and multimodal large models.
  • Strong learning ability and curiosity, clear logic, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Proficient English writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Implement operations research and artificial intelligence projects for self-owned and quasi-self-owned warehouses, and promote algorithm research and development in collaborative warehouses with service providers.
  • Apply deep reinforcement learning to warehouse processes including intelligent order batching, wave picking, and dynamic packaging optimization; implement and iterate internal systems; and address the limitations of traditional operations research optimization in complex, dynamic scenarios.
  • Build algorithms for first-mile and last-mile scenarios, including dynamic collection route planning, intelligent merchant onboarding and offboarding, and real-time regional division, using reinforcement learning.
  • Iterate the platform's intelligent order allocation algorithm and the delivery-station-level GTL three-segment code prediction model.
  • Implement a large language model-driven labor scheduling optimization plan that generates scheduling strategies based on business rules and real-time capacity fluctuations.
  • Participate in global logistics backbone network planning projects and build complex supply chain simulation capabilities using large language models.
  • Apply large models to multi-scenario simulation and automatic parameter optimization in network planning, assessing how changes in warehousing and distribution affect timeliness, traffic, and platform profits.
  • Design and implement intelligent scheduling algorithms for middle-mile scenarios, including cross-regional logistics projects such as the US Transportation Planning and Execution project.
  • Apply reinforcement learning to dynamic route planning and capacity scheduling for trunk-line transportation, optimizing cost and timeliness stability.
  • Explore artificial intelligence projects, including warehouse-scanned image recognition and multimodal large models for identifying missing parts upon receipt and tracing abnormal scenarios.
  • Analyze end-to-end logistics data to identify opportunities to optimize logistics operating models and improve service quality.
  • Participate in product plan design and collaborate with product, operations, and business analysis teams to productize algorithms and support the business.

Desired Qualifications

  • Relevant algorithm implementation experience in logistics or supply chain.
  • Published papers or project results at leading computer science conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, KDD, AAAI, or IJCAI, or leading operations research journals such as OR, MS, MP, M&SOM, POMS, TS, or TRB.
