Responsibilities
- Oversee service orders and the flow of the drive lane, ensuring that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
- Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression on the customer.
- Provide concierge support for owner inquiries by phone or in person to ensure that customers are handled properly.
- Ensure that the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers.
- Distribute work among technicians efficiently.
- Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
- Maintain the Customer Success Index at or above company standards.
- Assist in diagnosing vehicle problems and order parts and tools as necessary.
- Oversee warranty-claim administration and training and supervision within the service department.
- Reinforce company policies and adhere to company standards.
- Encourage compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain a good working relationship with the factory and foster positive employee relations.
