Requirements
  • A B.S. degree with a concentration in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Management Science, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project management activities supporting the development, tracking, monitoring, and reporting of several small- to medium-sized special projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of project outputs.
  • Consult with design and brand teams to ensure executive direction and feedback are implemented into projects.
  • Interface with the Royal Caribbean Group European site office and shipyard teams to ensure alignment on executive deliverables.
  • Use project management tools and techniques to develop and maintain project scope.
  • Administer team meetings, including attendees, agendas, and official minutes, and draft project-status reports for executive review.
  • Plan, coordinate, and structure project-management workshops, ensuring clear objectives, executive involvement, and agreed-upon deliverables.
  • Consult with clients to define needs or problems and obtain data required for solutions.
  • Conduct analysis and recommend solutions based on gathered insights to improve methods, procedures, ways of working, and use of best practices.
  • Perform vendor consultations and assessments to monitor progress, define problems, and obtain solutions.
  • Communicate with outside vendors and contractors to ensure contracted deliverables are completed on time.
  • Facilitate risk reviews and ensure adherence to risk-centric ways of working for Miami-based workstreams.
  • Align risk status and provide feedback on risk criticality in relation to the overall project scope.
  • Develop methods and practices for communicating project status to extended teams and executive management.
  • Support project teams in collecting quantitative and qualitative statistics and perform basic financial and statistical analysis.
  • Manage and resolve guarantee claims after project completion and vessel handover, serving as the primary liaison among shipowners, contractors, vendors, and shipyards to track deficiencies, coordinate repairs, and close out claims under guarantee terms.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, monitor response timelines, and verify that corrective work is completed to specification.
  • Perform other assigned job-related duties.

Royal Caribbean completes $1.25B bond offering to refinance debt

Royal Caribbean Group has completed a registered public offering of $1.25 billion in senior unsecured notes due 2034. The notes, which carry a 5.550% interest rate, will mature on 20 January 2034 unless redeemed earlier. The cruise operator plans to use the net proceeds primarily to repay part of its outstanding floating rate term loan facilities. Any remaining funds will go towards repaying or refinancing other existing debt. BNP Paribas Securities Corp., BofA Securities, Inc., and Citigroup Global Markets Inc. served as lead book-running managers for the offering. The notes were sold pursuant to an automatic shelf registration statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on 29 February 2024. Royal Caribbean Group operates 71 ships across three wholly owned brands.
