About the Job

Requirements

  • A minimum of three years of successful experience in project management, ideally in an industrial sector such as automotive, rail, aerospace, or medical.
  • Proficiency with a planning tool such as Microsoft Project, Planisware, or Primavera is preferred.
  • The ability to persuade, mobilize, and unite stakeholders around a common objective.
  • English proficiency sufficient to work in an international environment.
  • An engineering-school degree or a university master's degree.

Responsibilities

  • Support a project-management team in an industrial environment.
  • Provide decision support to project managers on complex projects by framing, structuring, and steering projects.
  • Ensure compliance with project-management processes.
  • Track progress, identify critical activities, anticipate deviations, raise alerts, and bring activity execution under control.
  • Facilitate project-governance meetings and coordinate stakeholders.
  • Develop project culture, promote accountability, and create connections among stakeholders.
  • Identify and address risks and opportunities that could affect the project.
  • Build and manage project schedules at macro and detailed levels using project portfolio management tools such as Planisware and Microsoft Project.
  • Improve update-processing time and industrialize the associated reporting.
  • Ensure activity consistency and promote schedule-driven management among teams.
  • Build multi-year budgets with business stakeholders based on working assumptions to control the project's forecast cost at completion.
  • Precisely establish consumption and commitment progress and forecasts of remaining work, including hours and purchases.
  • Highlight actual-versus-planned variances and provide the explanations required for management control.
  • Calculate earned value when applicable.
