  • A reliable personal vehicle is required for travel throughout the assigned service area.
  • Ability to work evenings and/or weekends as assigned based on participant availability is required.
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, and cold, is required.
  • Ability to provide participant transportation when required is required.
Responsibilities
  • Recruit and connect with research participants in community settings.
  • Travel throughout Klamath County using a personal vehicle to locate and interview participants; mileage reimbursement is provided.
  • Conduct research interviews in participants' homes and other appropriate community or public locations.
  • Maintain contact with participants and use creative, appropriate strategies to locate individuals who may be difficult to reach.
  • Consult with the Field Director and other Field Trackers or Interviewers regarding hard-to-find participants.
  • Complete interviews, follow-up activities, and other duties according to established data collection protocols and required timelines.
  • Help participants set up and navigate a smartphone application used as part of the research project.
  • Collect urine drug screens when required as part of follow-up data collection.
  • Provide participant transportation when needed.
  • Network with community organizations and contacts to strengthen recruitment and participant engagement.
  • Participate in regular case review meetings with the research team.
  • Receive, organize, and maintain an inventory of research supplies.
  • Meet established performance, documentation, data quality, and quality assurance standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of participant and organizational information.
  • Promote Chestnut's customer service standards in all interactions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
