Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or science, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Seven to ten or more years of Department of Energy operations oversight experience.
  • Experience with nuclear or industrial facilities is preferred.
  • Knowledge of operations oversight, procedure review, and reporting.
  • Ability to exercise judgment and work independently with field presence.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office business tools, including Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word; proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio.
  • Ability to fulfill the security requirements applicable to the work, including a Facility Clearance and, when required, the DOE clearance level specified in the task description.
  • Ability to work predominantly on-site at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site, with personal protective equipment required.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct operations surveillances and review operational logs.
  • Coordinate readiness reviews and escalate safety concerns.
  • Ensure operational readiness and compliance through assessments, documentation, communication, and administrative support.
  • Support operations at Hanford Tank Farms and the Waste Treatment & Immobilization Plant.
  • Document and track Department of Energy oversight findings.
  • Provide operations oversight and program and project management support for daily business activities and initiatives.
  • Support Safety, Environment, and Quality program activities for the Hanford Field Office.
  • Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.
