- At least 5 years of general maintenance or facilities experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems and basic troubleshooting is required.
- Experience repairing plumbing fixtures, leaks, and basic installations is required.
- Experience with painting and general surface repair is required.
- General facility repair skills across electrical, carpentry, and structural systems are required.
- Strong written communication skills are required for documenting work and reporting issues.
- Strong verbal communication skills are required for coordinating with center staff and leadership.
- The ability to pass a background check consistent with childcare licensing requirements is required.
- A valid driver's license is required if traveling between center locations.
- Perform general facility repairs, including doors, locks, fixtures, and minor structural issues.
- Complete routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
- Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and fixture replacement.
- Perform interior and exterior painting and touch-up work as needed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests across assigned centers.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and address hazards to maintain a safe learning environment for children.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and supply needs.
- Coordinate with Center Directors and Regional leadership on maintenance priorities and scheduling.
- Communicate with center staff and leadership regarding job status, timelines, and facility concerns.
- Basic vehicle maintenance and repair experience for center or fleet vehicles is preferred.
- Vehicle repair and maintenance experience is preferred.
