FlorenceHC provides a Site Enablement Platform for clinical trials. The platform is subscription-based and helps sponsors, CROs, and trial sites manage electronic Investigator Site Files (eISFs), electronic Trial Master Files (eTMFs), and electronic binders (eBinders) by automating workflows such as creation, editing, signing, gathering, and reviewing documents. It also aims to reduce bottlenecks in site start-up and streamline the process from First Patient In (FPI) to Last Patient Out (LPO. The product works through a cloud-based platform that supports end-to-end trial documentation and site activation, alongside onboarding and adoption services to help clients start quickly. FlorenceHC differentiates itself with its ease of use, straightforward setup, and strong customer support, making it a trusted choice for sponsors and sites. The company’s goal is to accelerate clinical development and reduce trial costs, contributing to faster development of cures.

Florence Healthcare launches AI agent access across 65,000 research sites and 30,000 protocols

Florence Healthcare has announced Model Context Protocol access across its clinical trial software suite, enabling AI agents to interact with its eleven workflow tools spanning 65,000 research sites and 30,000 active protocols. The integration works with AI assistants including Anthropic's Claude and OpenAI's ChatGPT. The MCP layer allows AI agents to query and analyse clinical trial data in real-time, automating tasks such as identifying missing documents, detecting compliance gaps and monitoring study progress. In a demonstration, Florence showcased a "Trial Intelligence" workflow where users manage studies through natural language queries. The pre-revenue company aims to reduce administrative burden in clinical research by automating operational detective work. Florence Healthcare supports over 600 sponsors and contract research organisations across 90 countries, claiming its platform can accelerate study startup by up to 70 per cent.
