Requirements
  • Education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or another job-related field.
  • Proficiency using standard software applications.
  • Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures of applicable systems.
  • Knowledge of mainframes, personal computers, networks, specialized software, the internet, and office automation tools.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Must pass a background investigation.
  • May occasionally be required to work weekends, nights, or be on-call.
Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line technical support for TechShare Prosecutor, including setting up user accounts, building security roles, configuring dynamic views, forms, and reports, and performing system configurations.
  • Determine and resolve system and application issues, answer inquiries, and evaluate and prioritize problems.
  • Gather requirements for new system features, integrations, and functions.
  • Review software updates, develop regression-testing plans, and coordinate the rollout of new releases.
  • Serve as the departmental liaison with internal staff, external agencies, and vendors regarding the implementation, integration, operation, and maintenance of TechShare Prosecutor.
  • Identify and correct production issues by collecting information from technical and non-technical users and guiding users through diagnostic procedures.
  • Monitor Criminal Justice Information System compliance by researching cases, verifying charge-information flows, running exception reports from Electronic Disposition Reporting submissions, coordinating corrections, and resubmitting records.
  • Coordinate and conduct training for District Attorney personnel on TechShare and related business processes.
  • Train and support law enforcement officers in submitting cases, digital evidence, and electronic disposition reports.
  • Determine training needs and facilitate training sessions.
  • Monitor new and pending legislation and regulations that may affect TechShare and other departmental information systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
