Requirements
  • 3+ years experience in manufacturing of consumer/enterprise electronics products
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience with precision machined components, 3D-printed materials, sheet metal, T-Slot Framing, and kinematic mounting
  • Experience with 3D CAD modeling (CREO and Windchill preferred)
  • Experience creating CAD drawings with appropriate GD&T notation
  • Working knowledge of statistics for ANOVA analysis, Gauge R&R analysis, and Design of Experiments
  • Must be comfortable in a highly dynamic and creative environment bound by time constraints
  • Exceptional presentation, organization, and logistical skills
  • Must be willing and able to travel internationally (15-20%)
Responsibilities
  • Develop mechanical concepts backed by fundamental engineering principles
  • Drive implementation of calibration stations from concept-phase to factory-appropriate solution
  • Develop verification processes to ensure station precision and accuracy
  • Drive collaboration across Calibration and Factory
  • Adept at problem-solving, issue resolution, and continued system improvement
  • Implement/enforce processes that ensure a high standard of quality for mechanical design
  • Drive station development in sync with high-level product goals
  • Hands-on and proactive in assembling/repairing calibration stations
