Requirements
  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting Department of Defense organizations in web application development, workflow automation, digital transformation, or related technical roles.
  • Experience evaluating, integrating, and implementing enterprise artificial intelligence capabilities and automation technologies to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
  • Hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint.
  • Experience developing interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualization solutions using Power BI to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing business processes, identifying workflow inefficiencies, and developing scalable automation solutions that improve productivity and reduce manual effort.
  • Experience modernizing legacy business processes through workflow automation and artificial intelligence-enabled technologies.
  • Working knowledge of web application development, systems integration, and digital collaboration platforms.
  • A Bachelor of Art or Bachelor of Science degree, although equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for access to government information and may be subject to a security investigation.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the STARCOM/S1 technical lead for artificial intelligence, automation, and digital transformation initiatives supporting human capital and administrative operations.
  • Act as the primary liaison between STARCOM/S1 and the STARCOM Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Office to align with enterprise artificial intelligence, data, and digital modernization strategies.
  • Research, evaluate, recommend, and implement government-approved artificial intelligence and digital technologies.
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain custom applications, automated workflows, and web-based solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint.
  • Analyze business processes to identify inefficiencies and develop automation solutions that streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve data quality.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI to provide workforce insights and support executive decision-making.
  • Integrate artificial intelligence capabilities, automation tools, and digital solutions into existing business processes.
  • Provide technical guidance, end-user training, and ongoing support to promote adoption of artificial intelligence, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Manage digital transformation projects throughout the full lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and sustainment.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures to support system administration and end-user adoption.
