Responsibilities
  • Support the execution and ongoing maintenance of Market Abuse Risk Assessments, including analysis and documentation of Inherent Risk, Control Suite, and Residual Risk assessments and associated rationales.
  • Develop knowledge of market abuse behaviors and indicators and analyze how these risks may arise across different businesses, financial products, and trading activities.
  • Support Market Abuse Risk Assessment change management assessments arising from changes in business activities, products, markets, regulations, or surveillance controls, and assist in evaluating their impact on existing risk and control assessments.
  • Analyze the surveillance control environment to understand how identified market abuse risks are addressed and identify observations, potential gaps, or areas requiring further review.
  • Support the design and enhancement of surveillance controls through analysis of order and trading behaviors, surveillance logic, detection criteria, parameters, thresholds, and other relevant data.
  • Perform data analysis and testing to assess the operation and effectiveness of new or existing surveillance controls, including review of detection results, alert volumes, and the impact of proposed changes.
  • Execute defined testing for surveillance enhancements, review results, identify exceptions or unexpected outcomes, and document findings for further assessment.
  • Support the development of new or enhanced surveillance scenarios by conducting research, analyzing data, and evaluating potential approaches under the guidance of experienced team members.
  • Develop familiarity with Equities and Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities products and trading flows and build an understanding of how market abuse risks and surveillance approaches may differ across products and markets.
  • Conduct research into relevant market abuse regulations, regulatory developments, and industry practices to support risk assessment and surveillance development activities.
  • Prepare risk assessments, analytical summaries, testing documentation, presentations, and governance materials to communicate findings and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Line Compliance, Surveillance Teams, Compliance Engineering, and other stakeholders to progress risk assessments, surveillance enhancements, testing, and remediation activities.
  • Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reporting, and maintain accurate records of risk assessments, surveillance changes, issues, and associated remediation activities.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Academic background in a quantitative, financial, or analytical discipline such as finance, economics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or statistics.
  • Familiarity with analytical tools or programming languages such as Excel, SQL, or Python.

We just closed an employee tender offer which values ElevenLabs at $22BN, up 2x from our Series D in February. The tender was led by Wellington and T. Rowe Price, and the growth is driven by demand from enterprises to deploy ElevenAgents across sales, support, and operations. In 2022, we raised our first round at a $9 million valuation, which we announced alongside Eleven v1, our first Text to Speech model, and the first model to generate human-level speech. Four years later, as we reach our new valuation, we just released two new state-of-the-art Text to Speech models. Eleven v4 and v4 Turbo are our fastest and most emotive models yet, and are leading independent benchmarks. Alongside models, we have built a full interaction platform for AI. It allows organizations to deploy conversational agents, connected to their knowledge and systems, that interact naturally in any industry, geography, or context. Goldman Sachs buys $14M stake in FirstCry parent Brainbees Solutions

Goldman Sachs has acquired a significant stake in Brainbees Solutions, the parent company of FirstCry, purchasing 6.8 million shares at ₹175 each through a bulk deal on the National Stock Exchange. The transaction, executed on 24 September 2026, is valued at approximately ₹119 crore. Goldman Sachs was previously an anchor investor in Brainbees Solutions' initial public offering, which allocated shares worth ₹1,885.80 crore to institutional investors. Meanwhile, private equity firm TPG exited its entire 2.21% stake in FirstCry through a ₹202 crore bulk deal, selling 12 million shares at ₹175.15 per share. TPG had first invested in FirstCry in 2021 and gradually reduced its holdings following the company's stock market debut in 2024. Technical analysts note that FirstCry shares remain in a downtrend, with immediate support at the ₹160–165 range.

Taktile raises $190M as AI agents outperform human analysts at SMB underwriting

Taktile, a Berlin-based decision platform for financial services, has raised $190 million in total funding, including a recent $120 million Series C led by Goldman Sachs. The company serves customers across 27 countries. Taktile's platform combines a decision engine, data marketplace, and agent platform to automate critical banking decisions like onboarding, KYC, credit underwriting, fraud detection, and transaction monitoring. The company initially launched as a horizontal MLOps platform in 2020 but pivoted after major tech companies released competing products. Co-founder and CEO Maik Taro Wehmeyer says AI agents now outperform humans at specific tasks like financial spreading for SMB underwriting, a process that failed to automate for three years until recently. However, the company maintains human oversight for final decisions, particularly in regulated areas like anti-money laundering. The company gained attention for placing a 300-pound bronze lobster statue in front of Wall Street's Charging Bull, generating 20 million views on social media.
