  • Availability to support a 24/7/365 on-call rotation and respond to Tier 3 critical network incidents within service-level agreement limits.
Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, maintain, upgrade, and optimize enterprise Zscaler deployments, including Zscaler Internet Access, Zscaler Private Access, Zscaler Digital Experience, and Zscaler Client Connector, across multi-cloud and hybrid corporate environments.
  • Create, audit, and tune security policies for URL filtering, Cloud Application Control, SSL/TLS deep packet inspection, Data Loss Prevention, and sandboxing.
  • Formulate and execute Zscaler Private Access policies to provide least-privilege access to internal applications in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and on-premises data centers.
  • Provide Tier 3 and Tier 4 escalation support for proxy routing, Proxy Auto-Configuration file debugging, identity integration, authentication failures, and application latency.
  • Manage enterprise distribution, health checks, profile tuning, and version upgrades for Zscaler Client Connector across macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android.
  • Use Zscaler Digital Experience and cloud analytics to isolate user-experience degradation across endpoints, network service providers, and applications; configure automated alerting and Security Information and Event Management log integration.
  • Partner with Identity and Access Management teams to configure Security Assertion Markup Language and System for Cross-domain Identity Management attributes with identity providers such as Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and Ping Identity.
  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 escalation support for network outages, circuit degradation, and performance issues; conduct root cause analyses and coordinate vendor support.
  • Maintain network diagrams, topology maps, inventory databases, standard operating procedures, and change-control tickets.
  • Coordinate cross-functional escalation pathways and implement Emergency Change Requests, Emergency Break Fixes, or Change Requests when needed to restore services.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and post-incident analysis for mission-critical applications, mission-essential applications, mission-essential network infrastructure, and recurring enterprise information-technology issues.
  • Partner with program and project managers to align network-engineering deliverables, milestone schedules, and resource planning with enterprise project objectives.
