Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Experience with Warehouse Management System
  • Computer applications using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), and or other computer skills including pulling and interpreting daily reports
  • Good visual acuity to inspect products and orders
  • Strong time management, organizational, planning and self-motivation skills
  • MHE experience or desire to learn MHE
  • Must have excellent people coaching skills
Responsibilities
  • Oversees and coordinates Fulfillment Center processes such as picking, packing, shipping, kit building, labeling, order printing and mail sortation
  • Directs work assignments to employees daily, assists Supervisor with labor planning
  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion
  • Acts as a Safety Champion for the Fulfillment Operation. Fully promotes and understands the importance of Safety, holding the team accountable for following processes safely
  • Ensures efficient and safe operation of all production equipment and machinery and assists in conducting Monthly Safety Observations and Process Observations on associates
  • When necessary, provide daily hands-on direct support in production functions
  • Drives compliance with quality and productivity goals in support of warehouse key objectives
  • Brainstorms and suggests new ideas on how to improve processes, morale, safety and order accuracy to Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager
  • Communicate problems, concerns, and ideas to management; assists in finding solutions
  • Trains new and current employees on operational SOPs, Training Checklists, Risk Assessments and Work Instructions
  • Ensures the warehouse is clean and orderly; including but not limited to organizing and trash and debris disposal, maintaining all workstations and production areas, sweeping warehouse, and wipe down of equipment
  • Additional duties or relevant projects as assigned by the Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager
