Requirements
  • A Colorado Substitute Teaching License is required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Candidates must submit an application, resume, and three professional references for interview consideration.
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement standards-aligned curriculum.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences and establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
  • Differentiate lessons for students with learning plans.
  • Integrate technology to provide a variety of learning materials and resources for educational activities.
  • Observe, evaluate, encourage, and provide feedback on students' progress and development in the coursework.
  • Implement data-driven instruction.
  • Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures, maintaining discipline in accordance with the school's rules and disciplinary system, and applying appropriate disciplinary measures where necessary.
  • Participate in team, school, and parent meetings.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Two or more years of substitute teaching experience, preferably in elementary school.
  • Experience with Infinite Campus and Google products.
