Requirements
  • Membership in the New Brunswick Nurses Association (AIINB).
  • At least two years of relevant clinical experience acquired within the past eight years is considered an asset.
  • Certification in Immediate Resuscitation Care (SIR) and maintenance of that certification.
  • Practical computer skills.
  • Recognized ability to organize and manage an assigned workload.
  • Recognized ability to function in a changing work environment.
  • Recognized ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Recognized ability to teach and communicate and to maintain interpersonal relationships with care staff and community organizations or services.
  • Recognized ability to work with older adults.
  • Sustained interest in deepening knowledge of geriatric care.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Physical ability to perform the assigned work.
  • A good prior work record in performance and attendance.
  • Adherence to professional ethics, the Vitalité Health Network's management philosophy and organizational values, and the Network's confidentiality rules.
Responsibilities
  • Undertake the steps of the nursing care process and manage the care episode within a supportive relationship involving patients and their relatives.
  • Perform other related duties as required by the service.
