Requirements
  • A recognized diploma in nursing is required.
  • Registration with the Quebec Order of Nurses (OIIQ) is required.
  • Hospital experience is required; experience in surgery and/or emergency care is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Ability to work under pressure, independently, and as part of a team is required.
  • Availability for flexible day, evening, and night schedules is required.
  • Fluency in French is essential; English is an asset.
Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care to patients in surgery and the emergency department.
  • Rapidly assess patients’ health status and implement appropriate interventions.
  • Provide follow-up care before and after surgical procedures.
  • Administer treatments and monitor changes in patients’ conditions.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families about care and medical follow-up.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of English is an asset.
