Blue Origin focuses on making space travel accessible through commercial spaceflight, primarily offering suborbital space tourism experiences. The company uses its reusable rocket, New Shepard, to take passengers to the edge of space for about 11 minutes, allowing them to experience several minutes of weightlessness and stunning views of Earth. Unlike many competitors, Blue Origin emphasizes the premium nature of its service, targeting affluent individuals and space enthusiasts willing to pay for this unique experience. The company's goal is to expand the market for space tourism while also developing advanced rocket engines and technologies for potential sales to other aerospace entities, positioning itself as a leader in the emerging space tourism industry.
