Responsibilities
  • Influence and empower students and graduates to find employment in their field of study and begin their healthcare careers.
  • Manage a population of graduates and assist them with job placement in the allied healthcare field.
  • Guide students and graduates on interview techniques, workplace expectations, resume best practices, and related job-search skills.
  • Develop and implement plans to achieve student and graduate employment goals.
  • Meet or exceed department metrics and quotas, including talk time, interviews, hires, and monthly graduate-placement goals.
  • Assist directors with advertising, recruiting externship and placement sites, marketing to the medical community, and monitoring student progress during externships.
  • Represent CHCP positively in the community.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings and student orientation.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accrediting rules and regulations.
  • Build positive relationships with students throughout the educational process to promote the services and availability of the career services department.
