Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience in compensation, total rewards, or compensation analytics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and human resource information systems; knowledge of relational databases and report-writing tools.
  • Experience running human capital management reports with ad hoc capabilities, advanced reporting tools, and analytical experience.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to respond to multiple and changing demands.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate attention to detail and analytical ability.
  • Ability to present information in written and oral form to all levels of coworkers.
  • Ability to interpret and explain compensation surveys and pay structures.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical processes including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, percentages, and ratios.

  • Ability to read, research, write, and analyze various types of reports and data.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze, implement, benchmark, and administer the organization's compensation programs.
  • Partner with Core HR, HRIS, Finance, and business leaders to support salary benchmarking, compensation planning, job evaluation, and incentive programs.
  • Support HRIS system configuration, integrations, and security roles.
  • Conduct system testing for new releases and enhancements, including impact analysis, regression testing, validation of compensation calculations, data reconciliation, and defect resolution before production deployment.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for SAP SuccessFactors Compensation.
  • Design, configure, and manage compensation templates for new cycles, ensuring accurate eligibility, budgeting, guidelines, and workflow alignment.
  • Administer compensation cycles, including plan activation, budget distribution, launch, monitoring, publication of finalized compensation statements, and reconciliation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, automation, and optimization within SuccessFactors Compensation.
  • Develop and maintain compensation dashboards, analytics, and reporting.
  • Analyze compensation data to identify trends, potential gaps, or inconsistencies and partner with Talent to recommend appropriate adjustments.
  • Conduct internal equity analyses across roles, departments, and employee populations to identify and address potential pay disparities.
  • Validate compensation calculations and reporting outputs and reconcile results to ensure accurate publication to Employee Central.
  • Translate complex compensation data into actionable insights for HR and leadership audiences.
  • Partner with external consulting firms and survey providers to analyze market data, support pay band recommendations, and validate compensation structures.
  • Perform pay equity reviews to help ensure compliance with equal pay and anti-discrimination laws, including the Equal Pay Act and Title VII.
  • Document compensation analyses, methodologies, and decisions to support audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and maintain accurate job descriptions with business leaders and HR, including job duties, required qualifications, and organizational alignment.
  • Evaluate new and revised roles for appropriate job leveling and alignment with established compensation structures.
  • Participate in compensation benchmarking and market analysis.
  • Partner with outside compensation companies to support job leveling and pay band placement based on market data, internal equity, and compensation guidelines.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR to ensure new roles and job postings align with established pay ranges and internal equity guidelines.
  • Document standard processes and procedures and create and deploy user documentation and guides.
  • Help train users on the compensation module.
  • Attend HR department staff meetings and participate in developing HR goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Participate in department budget and goal development, including planning and forecasting.
Desired Qualifications
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification.
  • Experience managing compensation cycles within SAP SuccessFactors.
