Requirements
  • Partner business development or channel sales experience with a demonstrated track record of driving partner-sourced or partner-initiated pipeline and moving partners from reactive delivery to proactive demand creation.
  • Experience designing and running structured joint campaigns with partners and connecting partner solution intellectual property to sales programs and customer outcome narratives.
  • Experience managing a defined portfolio of regional or national systems integrators, prioritizing partners by commercial fit and growth potential, and building Joint Business Plans that produce measurable sourced-pipeline outcomes.
  • Experience owning deal-registration hygiene, KPI and OKR tracking, pipeline-review cadence, partner governance, data analysis, and use of artificial intelligence tools in daily work.
  • Ability to collaborate across Partner Sales Managers, Partner Solutions Architects, Field Marketing, Field Sales, and Pre-Sales Leaders to qualify, advance, and close partner-sourced opportunities.
  • Ability to help partners build outcome-focused, industry-specific narratives for C-suite and line-of-business buyers and run sales masterclasses and capability sessions.
  • Understanding of mid-tier systems integrators’ business models, profit-and-loss structures, and partner-sourced pipeline operations.
  • Awareness of the EMEA data and artificial intelligence competitive landscape, including AWS, Microsoft, and Google Cloud Platform dynamics.
  • Comfort operating in a high-growth, fast-moving environment while helping build the operating model and executing account engagements and campaigns quickly.
Responsibilities
  • Own the business-development motion for a defined portfolio of Gold-tier and Rising Silver partners in EMEA and co-develop structured go-to-market plans that drive partner-sourced pipeline volume and velocity.
  • Lead partner industry workshops and structured partner go-to-market campaigns that move partners from opportunistic co-selling to programmatic demand generation aligned with company and go-to-market priorities.
  • Translate the Databricks Brickbuilder program into live partner go-to-market plays by identifying use cases, qualifying partners for Specialization and Brickbuilder eligibility, and connecting partner solution intellectual property to Databricks sales programs and customer outcome maps.
  • Execute the Power-of-3 motion across systems integrators, independent software vendors, and cloud providers by brokering joint account engagements involving partner industry expertise, cloud-hyperscaler funding, and independent software vendor capabilities.
  • Build go-to-market capacity within the partner portfolio through sales-badge completion, sales masterclasses, partner-champion development, and Specialization progression.
  • Own the partner-facing governance model, including Plan-on-a-Page and Partner Cockpit discipline, deal registration and service-level agreement compliance, partner business updates, and customer relationship management hygiene.
  • Run co-marketing investment decisions for the portfolio, including market development funds, Accelerate, and co-sponsored demand generation, using return-on-investment discipline.
  • Operate as a Partner First leader by setting accountability expectations, recognizing and scaling effective approaches, and serving as the primary contact for partners creating net-new pipeline.
  • Report to the EMEA Partner Manager Leader.

Coatue leads $3B Databricks investment at $134B valuation

Coatue Management is reportedly leading a $3 billion investment in Databricks, according to recent reports. The data analytics company previously raised roughly $5 billion earlier in 2026 at a $134 billion valuation. Databricks sells a lakehouse platform combining data lake and data warehouse capabilities and has expanded into AI software for enterprise applications. The company reported $5.4 billion in revenue run rate in February, up over 65% year on year, which grew to $6.9 billion by June. The earlier financing round included $2 billion in debt capacity intended to fund AI products, acquisitions and employee liquidity. At its current valuation, Databricks exceeds Snowflake's market capitalisation of approximately $83 billion. Management has indicated the company may remain private until market conditions improve.
