Verisk Analytics (NASDAQ:VRSK) trades more than 40% below its 52-week high of $322.92, and bulls argue the market undervalues the insurance data provider. Its shares were $190.87 on October 20, 2026, and have lost 19.62% over 12 months. About 90% of the largest property and casualty insurers use Verisk, with customer retention above 95%. Fiscal 2025 organic revenue grew 6.6% and free cash flow reached $1.19 billion. Growth slowed to 4.7% in the first quarter of 2026, but the company kept its full-year revenue guidance at $3.19 billion to $3.24 billion. It also sold its energy analytics unit for $3.1 billion. Its EV/EBITDA of 15.73x compares with 20.22x for Moody's and 21.95x for S&P Global. Hedge fund holders rose to 63 from 50 in the second quarter. Risks include slowing growth and the reliability of its catastrophe models as climate patterns shift.

Solera and Verisk link UK motor insurance claims data directly to 3,000 repair shops to cut waiting times

Solera and Verisk have launched an integration connecting Verisk's IVI Total Loss solution with Solera's Audatex estimating platform to streamline motor insurance claims in the UK. The system allows customer information and vehicle images captured at First Notification of Loss to flow directly to repairers, eliminating duplication and enabling earlier action on claims. Nearly 3,000 UK repairers using Audatex now receive instant access to FNOL images, allowing them to prepare labour and materials before vehicles arrive. This early visibility supports faster triage, improved planning and earlier parts ordering, reducing delays in the repair process. The integration improves claims accuracy and operational efficiency by ensuring critical data flows seamlessly between insurers and their approved repairer networks, helping accelerate the overall repair journey for customers.
