Operates hospitals and clinics; revenue cycle
Tenet Healthcare runs a large network of hospitals and outpatient facilities, including 65 hospitals and around 500 other centers, and owns Conifer Health Solutions, which provides revenue cycle management and value-based care services to hospitals, health systems, and physician practices. It earns most of its revenue from patient services like hospital stays, surgeries, and outpatient procedures, while Conifer generates income by handling billing and administrative tasks for providers. The company delivers care through its facilities and supports providers with financial operations and care models that tie payments to patient outcomes. Its scale and integration, along with an emphasis on workforce diversity, help coordinate care efficiently, with a goal of delivering the right care at the right place and time and becoming a trusted employer and partner in its communities.
