Title: Software Engineer, Mid to Senior Level: TS/SCI-cleared
Location: Camp Smith - Honolulu, Hawaii
Must be willing to go onsite 4 -5 days per week.
We have had work here in 2020, but the customer wants us to have a bigger presence out there. Hence, you could be an inaugural member of the team that will hopefully keep growing with time. We will have some Black Capers fly out to get the work set up and help onboard you. This is a longterm project that is very important and high visibility.

We are expanding and need to hire motivated engineers to help build innovative solutions for our customers. The ideal candidate needs limited direction and is passionate about technology. A willingness and desire to pick up new technologies or languages quickly is a must.

Required Technical Skills:
- Proficient in at least ONE Object-Oriented language like Java, Python, C# or C++ - NOT All, just ONE OO language (NOT all of them). Python and/or Java are preferred.
- Experience with at least ONE MVC framework, perhaps including Spring, Django, Flask or Rails
- Experience with at least ONE relational database, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or sqlite3
- Experience working with Linux distributions like Ubuntu, RedHat, or CentOS
- Working knowledge of web application basics like HTTP, HTML, REST, CSS, and JavaScript
- Working knowledge of DevOps basics to manage and deploy capabilities built using the above
Preferred Technical Skills:
- Specialty in data collection and transformation, namely finding insights with disparate data sources and linking them together
- Experience with sense-making and presenting advanced concepts like the results of machine learning processes to an analytic workforce
- Proficient in at least one scripting language like Bash Python or Perl
- Familiar with web server configuration on NGINX, Apache, or similar
- Familiar with a JavaScript framework like ReactBackbone, Angular, Ember or Vue.js
- Familiar with UI frameworks like Material Design or Bootstrap and Less
- Experience with NoSQL storage like ElasticSearch, Accumulo, MongoDB, HBase is a plus
