Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in information technology, management information systems, business administration, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, BI business analysis, or management information, including needs analysis and the design or optimization of statistical reports or dashboards.
  • At least 3 years of experience gathering, documenting, and prioritizing BI business needs for different stakeholder groups.
  • Experience contributing to at least one assignment lasting a minimum of 6 months in a BI environment involving data warehouses, analytical models, and extract, transform, and load or extract, load, and transform processes, using a tool such as Power BI or an equivalent.
  • Experience completing at least one assignment as a BI analyst in Quebec's public or parapublic sectors, applying information governance and personal-information protection principles comparable to those of Revenu Québec.
Responsibilities
  • Gather, document, and prioritize BI business needs from various stakeholders, including managers, analysts, and directors.
  • Analyze needs and design or optimize statistical reports and dashboards.
  • Contribute to work involving data warehouses, analytical models, and extract, transform, and load or extract, load, and transform processes.
  • Ensure rigorous use of BI tools, such as Power BI or an equivalent, in accordance with information governance principles.
  • Ensure compliance with personal-information protection standards applicable to Quebec's public and parapublic sectors.
