Requirements
Class A or Class B commercial driver's license with Passenger Endorsement.
Clean driving record with fewer than four points.
Ability to pass a Department of Transportation physical examination.
Ability to pass a Department of Transportation drug screen.
Ability to pass state and national background checks.
Ability to operate safely, serve the public, arrive on time, work independently, make sound decisions, learn new technology, and maintain safety awareness.
Responsibilities
Safely operate 35-foot transit coaches and 25-passenger cutaway vehicles.
Provide customer service to every passenger.
Help people travel safely throughout Butler County.
Work independently while following established routes and procedures.
Use onboard technology, including tablets and mobile applications.
Follow all safety regulations and company policies.

Annual merit-based wage increases
Up to $24.60 per hour starting pay for qualified candidates with verified passenger transportation or transit experience within the past 10 years

Where You'll Work
Drivers are based out of our Butler County locations in:
Hamilton
Middletown
Oxford
We operate service seven days a week, up to 23 hours per day, offering a variety of schedules to fit operational needs.
What You'll Do
As a BCRTA Vehicle Operator, you'll:
Safely operate 35-foot transit coaches and 25-passenger cutaway vehicles
Provide exceptional customer service to every passenger
Help people travel safely throughout Butler County
Work independently while following established routes and procedures
Use onboard technology, including tablets and mobile applications (we'll train you!)
Follow all safety regulations and company policies
