  • 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Software Engineer with direct customer engagement
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, data mapping, and integration patterns
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform, and familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Proficiency with scripting or programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or Go
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise integrations
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Support
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage engineering and executive audiences
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities while adapting to a rapidly changing environment
Responsibilities
  • Guide customers on their journey to success with Rootly as a technical expert and trusted advocate
  • Develop best practices and content around Incident Management and On-Call
  • Collaborate across Engineering, Customer Success, Support, and Product teams to represent the customers’ voice and drive continuous product improvements
  • Work with integration surface including REST APIs, webhooks, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Drive technical conversations with engineering teams at customer organizations
  • Operate as a technical partner internally to ensure solution requirements are clearly represented
