About the company

Emergent is a nonprofit that speeds and scales forest conservation by connecting buyers and sellers of jurisdictional REDD+ credits. It facilitates large-scale transactions of high-quality forest carbon credits and helps buyers navigate market complexities and policy uncertainties to complete deals. The platform focuses on high-integrity credits from jurisdictional programs and supports the end-to-end process to ensure credible, large-volume trades. Its goal is to expand access to credible forest carbon credits and make it easier for large buyers to fund emissions reductions, accelerating conservation outcomes.
