Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent with 8 or more years of relevant experience, or an associate’s degree with 6 or more years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 4 or more years of experience.
  • Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • An active or obtainable Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance.
  • Successful completion of background and drug screening.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing, data modeling, and version control systems such as Git.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and RESTful application programming interfaces.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within a team setting.
  • Ability to manage multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.
  • Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone, with professional phone skills and demeanor.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to visualize problems and think abstractly to solve them.
Responsibilities
  • Integrate operational events, service impacts, and system metrics from Grafana, Prometheus, and ServiceNow into dashboards and visualizations.
  • Learn and apply new enterprise monitoring, visualization, analytics, and data platforms as business needs evolve.
  • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, charts, and visualizations that communicate operational performance and actionable insights.
  • Translate monitoring and analysis results into meaningful operational metrics that support decision-making.
  • Collect, clean, transform, and organize data from SQL and NoSQL databases, APIs, streaming services, and flat files.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines and data-ingestion workflows for centralized data repositories and reporting.
  • Implement data-validation and quality checks to maintain data integrity across data platforms.
  • Develop scripts and automation to streamline repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot data-pipeline, observability, monitoring, and reporting issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, managers, analysts, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Maintain documentation for data systems, workflows, and business rules.
  • Use Git for version control and follow development best practices to support reliable deployment and maintenance of data solutions.
  • Present technical findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Share knowledge of tools, processes, and best practices with team members.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Apply data-modeling and data-storytelling techniques to transform raw data into actionable insights.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience designing and developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Grafana, Power BI, Tableau, Kibana, or similar platforms.
  • Experience automating data workflows using Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services such as Amazon S3, AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, or Google BigQuery for data storage, processing, and orchestration.
  • Familiarity with secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud data solutions.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery practices in data engineering environments.
  • Previous customer service experience.

What is the Scope of the FBI Academy Contract? Chenega told ExecutiveBiz on Wednesday that the security services required under the contract include access control, visitor screening and visitor badge processing. The contract has a performance period of 5 years and is worth $6.4 million. Work begins May 2026. Commenting on the award, CNI President David Pine said, "The Chenega team is proud to have been awarded this contract once again and continue its partnership with the FBI's Training Division." "Supporting the FBI Academy is an important component of Chenega's law enforcement agency business line which includes projects with the United States Secret Service James J. Rowley Training Center, DHS Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers and the NASA Protective Services Training Academy," Pine added. What other security services contracts has CNI secured in 2026? The contract with the FBI Academy is CNI's latest security services award from U.S. government customers this year. In late March, the Chenega subsidiary announced having secured an $8.5 million contract to continue its role of supporting force protection operations at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Humphreys Engineer Center in Alexandria, Virginia. CNI had delivered similar services since 2023, and with the contract, the company would continue providing support through September 2030. And in early March, CNI secured a five-year, $78.6 million task order from the Department of Homeland Security via its FPS Acquisition Division multiple award contract for protective security officer services. The award called for the provision of access control, patrol support and other armed security guard services at IRS headquarters in Washington, D.C., and the IRS New Carrollton Center in Lanham, Maryland. Work on the contract is expected to start in June and run through May 2031.
