Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a construction firm.
  • Knowledge of construction forecasting, cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and accounting principles.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Demonstrated understanding of building processes and systems.
  • Ability to create and support team morale.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, listening, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Create cost efficiencies through process improvement.
  • Support and drive utilization of company initiatives and technologies.
  • Manage owner billings and the project schedule from startup through closeout while optimizing safety, budget, schedule, quality control, and client satisfaction.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the project through immersion in project documents.
  • Execute action items to achieve objectives and key performance indicators, delegating where appropriate.
  • Understand and enforce contracts.
  • Facilitate subcontractor startup meetings and coordinate subcontractors for optimized performance.
  • Manage the client, employee, and subcontractor experience proactively.
  • Implement and maintain compliance with the quality control plan.
  • Participate actively in industry associations.
  • Set the direction of the project while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ensure adoption of enabling technologies and workflows.
  • Monitor project financial performance proactively.
  • Analyze project risks and take early mitigation actions.
  • Report progress against performance targets and key performance indicators.
  • Coordinate scheduling, subcontractor performance, and project documentation.
