Brevium provides a SaaS platform for medical practices that manages patient recalls, reminders, and reactivations. It works by analyzing a practice’s management data to find overdue patients and then prioritizes outreach according to clinical and financial goals, using proven insights to make outreach more efficient and effective. The software plugs into existing practice management systems, so clinics can run recall campaigns without changing their workflow, and is billed on a subscription basis. Compared with competitors, Brevium combines data-driven prioritization with seamless integration to practice management systems, focusing specifically on overdue-patient outreach to improve return rates and drive revenue rather than offering generic marketing tools. The goal is to help medical practices keep more appointments by reactivating overdue patients, improving patient retention, and increasing clinic revenue through smarter scheduling and communication."

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Frazier VC backed Brevium again in 2025, signaling continued investor conviction.
  • Brevium's status page shows routine maintenance, not customer-facing outages, in June 2026.
  • New Meditab and ModMed integrations open gastroenterology and immunotherapy workflows.

What critics are saying

  • Public funding totals remain tiny: about $3 million, limiting sales, R&D, and acquisitions.
  • Brevium still depends on third-party EHR vendors, especially Nextech, athenahealth, Meditab, and ModMed.
  • If major PM platforms build native reactivation, Brevium's niche gets commoditized fast.

What makes Brevium unique

  • Brevium integrates with dozens of PMS and EHR systems, including gGastro and Practice+.
  • Its 2025 site claims up to $25 revenue per $1 spent.
  • Specialized reactivation beats generic reminders by targeting overdue, high-value patients.
