Requirements
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience designing and implementing information technology supply chain systems, including demand planning, supply planning, and sales and operations planning.
- At least 3 years of experience implementing Kinaxis Maestro modules.
- Hands-on experience with Kinaxis Maestro demand planning, supply planning, or sales and operations planning, and functional knowledge of SAP APO (DP, SNP, PPDS) or SAP IBP.
- Thorough understanding of the software development life cycle, including business requirements definition, process design, functional specification review, test plan development, testing, user testing, user training, and software deployment.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively in intercultural and multicultural environments.
- Ability to develop tactical plans, manage project timelines, collaborate across functional and technical teams, build stakeholder relationships, and resolve project-team conflicts.
- At least 7 years of experience in SAP APO and at least 3 years of experience in Kinaxis Maestro.
Responsibilities
- Participate in customer business-requirements discovery sessions and translate requirements into user stories.
- Explain user stories to the information technology team for development in Maestro, and test and deploy developments.
- Provide key-user training.
- Apply SAP APO business-process understanding to propose solutions in Kinaxis Maestro.
- Serve as the single point of contact for business key users of the Kinaxis Maestro system.
- Participate as part of the global Kinaxis implementation team.
- Understand business requests and support the Process Improvement Activities lead in implementing improvement activities, validating and finalizing scope, coordinating with the technical team, and completing unit testing and implementation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements and translate them into functional specifications with support from the lead consultant.
- Mentor junior and senior functional consultants to develop competencies needed for project deliverables.
- Be responsible for assigned business requirements.
- Develop tactical plans to achieve business objectives and manage project timelines in alignment with the roadmap.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, technical consultants, business users, customers, and vendors, and resolve conflicts within project teams during implementations.
