Summary

The Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) Specialistis responsible formanaging the day-to-day operations of the company’s accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. This includes ensuringtimelyandaccurateprocessing of invoices, payments, and collections, as well asmaintainingdetailed financial records and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors/customers. This role is essential to the integrity of our financial operations and cash flow management.

Primary Responsibilities

Process incoming invoices and employee expense reimbursements accurately and on time

Generate and send invoices to clients and follow up on outstanding receivables

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

Maintainaccurateand organized records of all AP/AR transactions

Prepare reports related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and aging schedules

Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies

Respond to vendor and customer inquiries ina timelyand professional manner

Assistwith month-end and year-end closing processes, including bank and credit card reconciliations

Support audits by providing documentation and responding to auditor requests

Collaborate with theAssistantController and accounting team on cash flow forecasting and budgeting

Preferred Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting

Proficiencywith accounting software (e.g.,Business Central,NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar)

Strong understanding of GAAP and basic financial principles

Experience reconciling accounts and managing collections

Familiarity with invoice matching, purchase orders, and payment processing

Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze financial data

Compensation expected to be $55,000 to $65,000 dependent on experience.
