Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Process Engineering in a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
  • Lean Six Sigma, Green Belt, Black Belt, and/or Lean certification
  • Effective computer skills: MS Office, Statistical software, Power BI
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the development and optimization of processes to improve the operational KPI’s
  • Contribute to new product/process introduction by collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Apply project management skills in planning, budgeting, time management, resource allocation, and risk management
  • Establish, update, and maintain production procedures, maintenance procedures, process/product control, and test data
  • Drive continuous improvement in areas of safety, product quality, product delivery, and product cost utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools
  • Facilitate problem solving (root cause analysis) with corrective action through collaboration with Operations & Maintenance to improve equipment reliability
  • Collect and analyze process and production data to identify trends and ensure process stability
  • Drive resolution of customer claims and reduce repeat claims to improve the total customer experience
Desired Qualifications
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Experience in a Certified B Corporation or ethically focused organization
  • Experience in the food industry
