We are seeking a Mid‑Level Financial Analyst with a strategic mindset and strong leadership presence to support and optimize financial planning, execution, and reporting for high‑impact NAVWAR and PAE Mission Systems programs. This role requires a seasoned professional who can lead financial forecasting efforts, guide decision‑making with data‑driven insights, and collaborate effectively across both functional and technical teams.

Scope of Responsibilities:
• Support preparation of complex monthly financial reports using standardized processes and templates, providing strategic insights that inform leadership decisions.
• Monitor and analyze program spending, proactively identifying variances and recommending corrective actions to maintain alignment with financial targets.
• Own and maintain execution reporting, ensuring accuracy across labor rosters, burn rates, and multiple budget lines.
• Develop executive‑level slide decks and tailored briefings that translate financial data into actionable intelligence for stakeholders.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to program leadership, offering risk‑informed financial strategies and surfacing issues before they impact program outcomes.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration.
• At least 5 years of financial management experience, including 3+ years supporting NAVWAR or DoD programs.
• Strong Microsoft Excel capabilities, including pivot tables, financial modeling, and scenario planning.
• Demonstrated proficiency with financial systems and data integration tools (e.g., ERP systems, business intelligence platforms).
• Proven track record in strategic planning, risk analysis, and budget execution for complex federal programs.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate technical or operational risks into financial terms.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams with a high degree of autonomy.

Desired Qualifications:
• Active DoD SECRET clearance (preferred) or the ability to obtain one.
• Knowledge of DoD PPBE processes, federal budgets, spend planning, execution reporting, and federal appropriations lifecycle.
• Experience working with Navy ERP.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI, Advana/War Data Platform (WDP), or similar reporting tools.

Salary: 90k+ to align with education and experience.
