We are looking for a super organised, people person to join us as a Work Planner for our ECO business!
Here at Octopus Energy ECO, we’re responsible for delivering the government mandated ECO obligation scheme on behalf of Octopus Energy. We are passionate about helping customers on low income and certain types of benefits improve the insulation in their homes, to help reduce their bills and carbon emissions. We work with an internal and external supply chain insulating customer homes across the UK within the compliance rules of the ECO scheme.
As our team has grown, you will be working alongside our In-House Installation Team and Schedulers to produce schedules of work on our exciting projects.
What you’ll do
• Customer contact is key to this role, you must be able to speak to customers daily, resolving any concerns they have before they attend site.
• Having a relationship with the in-house installation team managers and technicians is also key to this role, we need to make sure our customers journey is as smooth as possible.
• Working alongside our scheduler to manage the in-day work for our installation teams.
• Creating and managing Google Sheets is key to this role.
• Provide in-day support to the field workforce through the management of work levels.
• Assist in ensuring that the agreed work volumes are met and monitored throughout the day as required.
• Communicate to the appropriate teams in a timely manner with a view to securing additional appointments to maintain engineer productivity levels whilst taking into account local geography, mileage / travel time and engineer skill sets.
• Schedule & confirm appointments with customers via email/phone, ensuring relevant information is collated and inputted into the correct systems.
• Liaise with Team Managers to communicate and resolve day to day issues.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls to and from customers, technicians and team managers in a timely manner to support customers with their journey and resolve queries as appropriate.
• Monitor & manage shared emails to respond to customer queries, liaising with other team members/departments where necessary.
What you’ll need
• Ideally, 1-2 years experience working in a fast paced environment where you have managed workloads and prioritised multiple tasks.
• Strong organisational skills for managing work levels and appointments efficiently.
• Effective communication abilities to liaise with field workers, team managers, and customers.
• Sharp problem-solving capabilities to address issues promptly and find solutions.
• Proficiency in using relevant systems for scheduling and tracking workflows.
• Full Clean Driving Licence as there will be travel to and from Sheffield to Nottingham offices.
