About the Job

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
  • Complete an outpatient clinical rotation if a new graduate or student PTA.
  • Have outpatient experience within the last five years if a practicing clinician.
  • Pass the national examination for physical therapist assistants certified by CAPTE.
  • Hold a valid state physical therapist assistant license or have a license in process.
  • Hold CPR certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist, as mandated by the State Practice Act.
  • Implement high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities with minimal supervision, in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
