About the company

Decathlon Singapore sells sports equipment, clothing and footwear through stores and an online shop for beginners and experienced athletes. Its range covers activities from cycling and hiking to swimming and team sports, drawing on the Decathlon group's family of sport brands. Experience stores include areas where customers try equipment, while smaller collection stores connect online orders with local pickup. The business earns revenue from product sales to individuals and bulk purchases by schools, companies and other organisations. Singapore operations began online in 2014; they belong to the Decathlon group, founded in 1976 and headquartered in Villeneuve-d'Ascq, France.
