  • Familiarity with Federal Information Security Modernization Act compliance and the Risk Management Framework.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership with an accurate picture of environmental exposure, including unassessed areas.
  • Assess new systems and changes before they go live.

  • Identify thin assessment coverage and the actions needed to close gaps.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience leading vulnerability-assessment or penetration-testing work that produced findings acted on by engineering teams.
  • Experience prioritizing findings by real exploitability rather than scanner severity alone.
  • Experience working in a federal or highly regulated environment, including remediation timelines and risk-acceptance processes.
  • Experience persuading a team to fix an issue before it caused a visible problem.
  • An active CBP background investigation, a fitness determination at another Department of Homeland Security component, or an active Department of Defense clearance.
  • Certifications such as OSCP, GPEN, or equivalent.
  • One of the following certifications for vulnerability-assessment analysts: GPEN, GWAPT, GSNA, GAWN, GWEB, GXPN, CEH, OSCP, OSEE, OSCE, or OSWP.
  • Leadership experience with a technical team.

Agile Defense provides IT and cybersecurity services to the U.S. Federal Government, including digital transformation, IT modernization, and a Virtual Security Operations Center (VSOC) to defend against cyber threats.
