Requirements
  • A B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical or Packaging Engineering, or a related field, with 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical logistics and inventory management.
  • Strong knowledge of current good manufacturing practices, pharmaceutical manufacturing principles, and global packaging standards.
  • Technical proficiency, independent thinking, teamwork, collaboration, and the ability to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for external contract packaging organizations and packaging component suppliers.
  • Provide technical support for routine commercial packaging operations at external contract manufacturing organizations, including management of deviations, complaints, and investigations related to packaging, labeling, and logistics.
  • Drive timely issue resolution to ensure product quality, regulatory compliance, and continuity of supply.
  • Partner with Quality, Manufacturing, and external partners to ensure uninterrupted commercial supply.
  • Support department leadership with resource planning and financial reporting activities.
  • Initiate, review, and approve internal and contract manufacturing organization specifications for primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging components used for commercial products.
  • Author and maintain bills of materials and packaging process instructions for new and existing products.
  • Collaborate with Technical Development to provide input on manufacturability, scalability, and packaging design for company products.
  • Lead or support technology transfer activities for packaging processes from development to commercial manufacturing.
  • Participate in or lead packaging process validation activities for solid dose products across global manufacturing networks.
  • Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with current good manufacturing practice, regulatory, and internal quality requirements applicable to global pharmaceutical packaging operations.
  • Provide packaging-related support to enable new product launches.
  • Support regulatory submissions, inspections, and responses related to packaging, labeling, and serialization activities, as needed.
  • Ensure all supplies are controlled and distributed in accordance with good manufacturing practice, good clinical practice, and good distribution practice.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce departmental business processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste.

Revolution Medicines files daraxonrasib NDA for pancreatic cancer, raises $2.2B

Revolution Medicines announced second quarter 2026 financial results, reporting cash and marketable securities of $3.9 billion as of 30 June. The company completed concurrent public offerings totalling $2.2 billion in gross proceeds and received $250 million from Royalty Pharma. The FDA accepted the company's new drug application for daraxonrasib to treat previously treated metastatic pancreatic cancer. Over 2,000 patients have received the drug through an expanded access programme since May. The FDA also granted breakthrough therapy designation for daraxonrasib in certain non-small cell lung cancer patients. Research and development expenses rose to $394.9 million from $224.1 million year-over-year, whilst general and administrative expenses increased to $110.2 million from $40.6 million. Net loss totalled $644.4 million, compared to $247.8 million in the prior year quarter.
