Bissell CrossWave Reach Plus: The first CrossWave with hot-air drying.

Bissell CrossWave Reach Plus: The first CrossWave with hot-air drying. Bissell has introduced two new cordless wet-dry floor cleaners, the CrossWave Reach and CrossWave Reach Plus. The Reach Plus is the first CrossWave model with a hot-air drying dock, according to Bissell. Both are designed to vacuum and wash sealed hard floors in a single pass, with a lay-flat design intended to make cleaning beneath furniture easier. The standard Reach offers the core cleaning design without the hot-air drying dock. Bissell CrossWave Reach Plus. Bissell CrossWave Reach. Price as of October 16, 2026 CrossWave Reach and Reach Plus: What's new? The new models feature a 180-degree lay-flat design for cleaning under low-clearance furniture and Bissell's ZeroGap edge-cleaning technology for reaching along walls and baseboards. Bissell also highlights simultaneous wet and dry pickup and a self-cleaning function. The company says the Reach Plus can clean farther under furniture and leave floors dry faster than certain comparison models; those are manufacturer claims, not Vacuum Wars test results. CrossWave's first hot-air drying dock. The CrossWave Reach Plus brings hot-air drying to the CrossWave lineup for the first time. Its dock uses hot air to dry the brush roll after self-cleaning, which Bissell says helps reduce residual moisture and odors. The CrossWave Reach offers the core wet-dry cleaning design without that hot-air drying dock. One package-detail question remains open: Vacuum Wars has not independently confirmed the type or size of any additional cleaning-solution bottle included with the Plus listing, so Vacuum Wars is not treating that as a verified difference between the packages. These are launch details rather than hands-on findings. Vacuum Wars has not established performance results for either model in Vacuum Wars testing. Bissell names Adam Madigan as new Chief Executive Officer.

Bissell names Adam Madigan as new Chief Executive Officer. Last updated September 25, 2026 BISSELL has announced a change at the top of the 150-year-old home and floor-care company, naming longtime executive Adam Madigan as Chief Executive Officer effective October 1, 2026. Madigan most recently served as BISSELL's President and Chief Operating Officer and has been with the company for 14 years. He succeeds Mark Bissell, who stepped down as CEO in September 2025 and will continue with the company as Executive Chairman. A longtime BISSELL executive takes the lead. Madigan joined BISSELL in 2012 as Global Director of Hard Surface and went on to hold several leadership positions, including Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing before becoming President and COO in 2025. Before joining BISSELL, Madigan worked in marketing and supply-chain roles at Procter & Gamble. He holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. The appointment represents an internal leadership transition rather than a major change in ownership or family involvement. BISSELL remains a fifth-generation family-owned company, and the Bissell family will continue to play an active role in its operations. Mark Bissell will remain Executive Chairman, while Max Bissell will continue on the company's leadership team as President, Global Product, reporting to Madigan. New leadership during a period of expansion. Madigan takes over at an interesting point in BISSELL's history. The company is celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2026, having grown from Melville Bissell's original carpet sweeper business into a global floor-care brand with products spanning vacuums, carpet cleaners, portable spot cleaners, and wet-dry floor cleaners. BISSELL has also been expanding beyond its traditional floor-care categories. Earlier this year, the company introduced a new BISSELL Pet Care division with products including the CleanWell Automatic Litter Box and HydrateWell Automatic Water Fountain. At the same time, its core cleaning lineup continues to evolve. Recent launches include the CrossWave Reach Plus wet-dry cleaner, and BISSELL has continued developing its carpet-cleaning and portable deep-cleaning ranges. What the leadership change could mean for BISSELL. BISSELL says Madigan will lead the company as it pursues further growth and product innovation while continuing to build on its existing brands and recent acquisitions. Madigan has already been involved in shaping the company's strategy as President and COO, including work surrounding acquisitions made in recent years. BISSELL acquired professional and household cleaning company Unger in 2024 and previously joined with Rug Doctor in 2022. The company has not announced any immediate changes to its product strategy as part of the CEO transition. For the floor-care industry, however, Madigan's appointment puts a longtime BISSELL insider in charge as the company moves into its next phase of product development and expands into categories beyond vacuums and floor cleaners. Madigan officially assumes the CEO role on October 1, 2026. More Bissell news and reviews at Vacuum Wars. Best cordless Wet Dry Vacuum mop for Pet Hair in 2026: Tineco vs. Dyson, Dreame & Roborock.

Best cordless Wet Dry Vacuum mop for Pet Hair in 2026: Tineco vs. Dyson, Dreame & Roborock. For pet parents, keeping floors clean feels like a constant battle against shedding fur, tracked-in dirt, and accidental spills. Pulling out a broom, a dry cordless vacuum, and a traditional mop just to clean a single kitchen mess is exhausting. That is why the modern cordless wet dry vacuum mop has become an essential home appliance. Designed to vacuum solid debris while scrubbing hard floors in a single pass, these all-in-one floor washers cut cleaning time in half. To find the best wet dry vacuum for pet households in 2026, Easy Reader News evaluated Tineco's flagship lineup - including the thermal FLOOR ONE S9 Artist Steam and the automated FLOOR ONE STATION S9 Scientist Pro - against top US competitors from Dyson, Dreame, Roborock, MOVA, and Bissell. 2026 spotlight: Tineco's top contenders. 1. Thermal sanitation: Tineco FLOOR ONE S9 Artist Steam. For sticky kitchen messes and pet accidents, the Tineco FLOOR ONE S9 Artist Steam tackles heavy-duty messes with 320°F HyperSteam, melting dried residue without harsh chemicals. The DualBlock anti-tangle system directs wet pet hair into the dirty water tank, preventing brush roll tangles, while its 180° lay-flat design and edge-to-edge cleaning reach under sofas and along baseboards. 2. Hands-Off automation: Tineco FLOOR ONE STATION S9 Scientist Pro. If you hate manually emptying wastewater after every room, the Tineco FLOOR ONE STATION S9 Scientist Pro Wet Dry Vacuum Cleaner offers total automated maintenance. Its smart station automatically refills clean water, disposes of dirty fluid, dispenses cleaning solution, and washes the brush roller. A thermal FlashDry cycle then dries the roller in minutes, preventing sour mildew odors. Paired with iLoop(TM) smart dirt sensing, it delivers an effortless, hands-off cleaning experience. 3. Agility & Dry options: S7 Stretch Ultra, Switch S6 Stretch & A90S. FLOOR ONE S7 Stretch Ultra and Tineco Switch S6 Stretch offer a 13 cm lay-flat design for tight spaces under low-profile beds, while the PURE ONE A90S provides powerful dry suction for carpets, stairs, and upholstery with a ZeroTangle brush. Head-to-Head comparison. | Model | Primary Tech / Heating | Lay-Flat Capability | Pet Hair Technology | Self-Cleaning & Drying | | Tineco S9 Artist Steam | 320°F HyperSteam | 180° Lay-Flat | DualBlock Scraper | Auto-Wash + Heated Drying | | Tineco Station S9 Scientist Pro | iLoop(TM) Smart Sensing | Standard Recline | DualBlock Scraper | Full Auto Station + FlashDry | | Tineco Switch S6 Stretch | 5-in-1 SwitchPro / iLoop(TM) | 180° Lay-Flat (13 cm) | Mechanical Scraper | 5-Min FlashDry Air Drying | | Roborock F25 Ultra | 86°C Hot Water / 180°C Steam | 180° Lay-Flat | Dual Scraper System | Hot Water Wash + Air Drying | | Roborock F25 ACE | 20,000 Pa / Smart Sensing | 180° Lay-Flat (13 cm) | Dual Scraper System | Hot Water Wash + Air Drying | | Dreame H15 Pro Heat | Heated Water Base | 180° Lay-Flat | Static Comb Scraper | Heated Base Drying | | Dreame H14 Pro | 18,000 Pa / Smart Sensing | 180° Lay-Flat | Centrifugal Comb Scraper | 60°C Wash + Hot Air Dry | | MOVA X4 Pro | Smart Auto-Clean Sensing | 180° Lay-Flat | Anti-Tangle Comb | Self-Wash + Hot Air Dry | | Dyson WashG1 | Counter-Rotating Rollers | Low Profile Recline | Debris Extraction Tray | Auto-Clean Cycle | | Dyson V15 Detect (Dry Only) | Fluffy Optic Laser | Standard Recline | Digital Motorbar | Manual Emptying | | Bissell CrossWave OmniForce | Power Mop & Dry Vacuum | Standard Recline | Tangle-Free Brush Roll | Automatic Clean Out Cycle | Real US owner reviews: what users say. US pet owners highlight two critical factors: wet-hair management and floor drying speed. "With two Golden Retrievers, wet dog hair used to clog every mop I owned. The Tineco vacuum squeezes hair straight into the dirty tank without wrapping around the roller. It's easily the best vacuum for pet hair on hard floors." - Megan R., Verified Buyer (San Diego, CA) "I have original sealed hardwood and was nervous about excess moisture. The iLoop sensor deposits a fine mist that dries in under 30 seconds. It is the best vacuum for hardwood floors I've used." - Chris T., Homeowner (Austin, TX) Buyer's guide & FAQ: choosing the right vacuum. Which cordless vacuums are top-rated for pet hair and long hair without tangles? Cordless vacuums with active scrapers like Tineco's DualBlock or anti-tangle motorbars are top-rated for pet and long hair. Continuous scrapers prevent fur from wrapping around the brush by directing it into the suction channel. Which vacuums are best for hardwood floors without scratching or scattering debris? Choose vacuums with soft microfiber rollers and smart water metering to clean hardwood, tile, or vinyl without scratching or scattering debris. Which wet-dry vacuums have the best filter systems for dust and allergens? Look for fully sealed, multi-stage HEPA filtration systems. Sealed HEPA filters trap 99.97% of dander, dust, and pollen down to 0.3 microns, keeping allergens from recirculating into your home. What are the best wet-dry vacuums for kitchen spills and pet accidents vs. garage cleanup? For kitchen spills and pet accidents, choose wet-dry floor washers like Tineco S9 Artist Steam. For concrete garages, sawdust, and heavy debris, use heavy-duty shop vacs like Ridgid or Craftsman. Final verdict. For pet owners with hard floors, cordless wet-dry cleaners simplify daily cleanup. The FLOOR ONE S9 Artist Steam handles heavy messes and steam sanitation, while the STATION S9 Scientist Pro offers hands-free automation. References.
