Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, including internships involving product management, business analysis, project coordination, or software requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into clear, structured documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple small tasks simultaneously.
  • Comfort working with data, spreadsheets, and basic reporting tools such as Excel, Smartsheet, and Airtable.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum concepts and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team-based environment.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and adapt to shifting priorities.
Responsibilities
  • Support the collection and documentation of business and functional requirements for event planning, crewing, onboarding, travel, hotel allocation, equipment management, and reporting workflows under senior guidance.
  • Maintain the product backlog in Jira or an equivalent tool by writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and epics with senior team members.
  • Create and maintain requirements documents, process flows, wireframes, user flows, and release notes using Confluence, Lucidchart, or Figma.
  • Partner with QA to log, triage, and track defects through resolution using Jira or similar test-management tooling; write and execute basic test cases and support user acceptance testing sessions.
  • Support data analysis and reporting requests by querying dashboards such as Power BI and Tableau and translating findings into actionable insights.
  • Assist with vendor and integration coordination by documenting data flows between the platform and downstream systems, including HR and payroll systems, travel and expense platforms, and third-party crewing and staffing vendors.
  • Prepare and maintain end-user training materials and job aids and support training sessions for event operations staff.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies, including standups, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, as part of an Agile delivery team.
  • Track action items, risks, and open issues across concurrent workstreams and escalate them to senior team members as appropriate.
  • Gather and organize stakeholder feedback through surveys, interviews, or support tickets to inform the product roadmap.
  • Provide basic post-launch support by monitoring for issues, documenting bugs, and coordinating fixes with engineering.
  • Own small, well-scoped enhancements or process-documentation projects as initial solo deliverables with senior review.
Desired Qualifications
  • Exposure to SQL.
  • Interest in or exposure to media, broadcast, or live sports and event production.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted productivity tools such as Claude or Copilot for drafting requirements, summarizing meetings, or accelerating documentation.
  • Basic understanding of API-based system integrations and data flows between systems.
  • Exposure to low-code or no-code platforms such as Power Platform and Retool.
  • Prior experience with HRIS, travel and expense, or workforce management software through professional or school projects.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the United States for event support.
