  • At least five years of experience and direct working knowledge of information security control frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, or COBIT.
  • Information Risk, Privacy, or Security certification, such as CISSP, CCSK, CCSP, PCSM, OSCP, CEH, or GPEN.
Responsibilities
  • Lead proactive assessment and remediation of security vulnerabilities in applications, infrastructure software, and other information assets.
  • Establish strategies and frameworks for validating scanning results.
  • Perform asset and network discovery activities to help ensure complete coverage of the vulnerability management environment.
  • Recommend fixes, security patches, and other measures in response to security breaches.
  • Review penetration test findings with system owners according to vulnerability and asset risk ratings.
  • Define key performance indicators and metrics across business units to show the effectiveness of vulnerability management.
  • Implement or coordinate remediation arising from vulnerability scans and audits, and document exceptions as necessary.
  • Produce vulnerability, configuration, and coverage metrics and reports to demonstrate assessment coverage and remediation effectiveness.
  • Generate reports on assessment findings and prioritize remediation schedules.
  • Maintain the health and effectiveness of application and device scanning applications and systems within security.
  • Review security scans and lead or manage issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable configuration standards.
  • Oversee enterprise vulnerability assessment and configuration assessment tools.
  • Attend and participate periodically in change management policy discussions and meetings.
  • Research new tactics, techniques, and procedures in public and closed forums; work with colleagues to assess risk and implement or validate controls as needed.
  • Use vulnerability database sources to understand weaknesses, their probability, and remediation options, including vendor-supplied fixes and workarounds.
  • Communicate vulnerability results to technical and non-technical business units according to risk tolerance and business threats, and gain support through influential messaging.
  • Work with infrastructure teams to advise and support remediation efforts addressing vulnerability exposure to emerging threats and verify the organization's security posture.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Ryder beats EPS forecast by 27 cents on 6% rise in used tractor sales

Ryder reports Q1 results Thursday with flat revenue expected
