Senior Developer / Lead

Required:
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Java, Angular JS and AWS.
• Strong experience with Java (11/17) in AWS Lambda environments
• Solid understanding of AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch
• Skilled in DynamoDB data modeling, query optimization, and managing secondary indexes.
• Proficiency in AngularJS (1.x) and frontend refactoring
• Familiar with CI/CD workflows, Git version control
• Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on writing clean, modular code
• In-depth knowledge of AWS and cloud best practices

Tasks:
Backend (AWS Lambda – Java) 
• Upgrade Java Runtime: Migrate AWS Lambda functions from current Java version to the latest supported version (e.g., Java 17 or latest supported by AWS). 
• Refactor Legacy Code: Improve code structure, modularity, and readability. Replace deprecated libraries and patterns. 
• Review and Optimize existing DynamoDB Queries: o Identify and implement appropriate secondary indexes 
• Improve performance and cost-efficiency of database operations

Frontend (AngularJS) 
• Upgrade Node.js Runtime: Update build and deployment environment to a supported Node.js version compatible with the AngularJS application. 
• Refactor UI Code: Improve maintainability of AngularJS components and services. 
• [stretch] Revamp Look & Feel: Apply design updates to improve UX and visual consistency.
