Requirements
  • At least 4 years of electrical estimating experience.
  • Experience with mission-critical or data-center projects, industrial construction, large commercial construction, design-build projects, or fast-track construction environments.
  • Proficiency with Accubid or similar estimating software, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, and project documents.
  • Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code and electrical systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
  • Review electrical drawings, specifications, and project documents.
  • Perform detailed takeoffs and prepare accurate cost estimates.
  • Develop budgets, proposals, bid packages, and scope reviews.
  • Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, engineers, and operations teams.
  • Participate in preconstruction planning and value engineering efforts.
  • Assist with project turnover and support awarded projects.
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving strategies.
  • Maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and industry partners.
  • Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and systems.
Desired Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education or industry certifications are preferred.
  • Experience with mission-critical or data-center projects, industrial construction, large commercial construction, design-build projects, or fast-track construction environments.
