  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
  • 3+ years' related experience including pump sales and service
  • Knowledge of pump hydraulics, mechanics, and construction
  • Strong math and engineering skills
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship building skills
  • Professional Engineering (PE) certification preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce, MathCAD, and Pump Selection Software
Responsibilities
  • Provide optimal design selections based on customer duty requirements
  • Select materials based on application requirements
  • Work with purchasing team to obtain costing for components
  • Provide selection and quotation training to external customers
  • Maintain CRM funnel to ensure opportunity visibility
  • Receive customer purchase orders and gather pertinent information
  • Achieve annual standard margin and revenue targets
  • Update and research recommendations for product and system improvements
  • Execute negotiations for large project terms and conditions
