Responsibilities
Communicate with technical drafting staff, clients, and other outside project team members.
Prepare preliminary designs for clients.
Review building codes to ensure their correct implementation in preparation and design.
Attend client meetings and coordinate with construction project managers, architects, civil engineers, and mechanical engineers.
Produce structural calculations for implementation with technical drafting staff during preparation of construction documents for permit submittal and construction.
Produce construction-ready design drawings using Revit and coordinate with all disciplines to ensure complete and accurate alignment.
Desired Qualifications
Previous construction or engineering internship/co-op experience is a plus.
