Requirements
  • An Associate’s degree in business or a healthcare-related field and two years of sales or healthcare-related experience with the Affordable Care Act.
  • An active state and life and health insurance license in West Virginia.
  • Working knowledge of Affordable Care Act Marketplace regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Understanding of the Affordable Care Act sales process.
  • Experience working with a Customer Relationship Management system.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and thoroughness, with a demonstrated commitment to continuous process improvement.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new content, and demonstrate knowledge of the Affordable Care Act and Medicare industries.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use standard office equipment for extended periods.
Responsibilities
  • Achieve established sales targets throughout the year, with an emphasis on Open Enrollment Period goals.
  • Increase and maintain Ready-to-Sell agent participation throughout the year in alignment with established goals.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with selling agents year after year, with a focus on production and retention.
  • Implement sales training programs through in-person and virtual delivery methods.
  • Partner closely with the Program Manager on designated supplemental vendor programs and related tasks.
  • Manage daily lead assignments and ensure timely follow-up, outreach, and closing activity.
  • Develop and maintain positive, growing relationships with agents and agency leaders.
  • Develop and facilitate Train the Trainer programs to support consistent agent education and development.
  • Establish and execute business planning strategies with agents around key enrollment periods.
  • Partner closely with internal teams and stakeholders on designated events, programs, and initiatives.
  • Maintain accountability for clinic attendance and agent compliance with established requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies focused on agent-force retention and agents’ book-of-business growth and retention.
  • Work closely with the Operations Lead on certain tasks, initiatives, and projects.
  • Support the Manager and Director with assigned sales and retention initiatives, both internally and externally.
  • Support and encourage self-generated sales activity with agents, with a focus on customer acquisition and retention.
  • Perform additional duties and support business needs as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Five years of Affordable Care Act sales experience, preferably working with an early-stage Affordable Care Act plan.
  • Two years of demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with industry stakeholders, including brokers, agents, community partners, clinic management, and field marketing organization partners.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing sales strategies, business plans, and agent engagement initiatives.

Peak Health opens new Member Service Center in Morgantown. Peak Health opens new Member Service Center in Morgantown to make in-person member support more accessible. Peak Health is excited to announce the opening of its new Member Service Center, giving members a convenient and welcoming place to receive personalized, face-to-face assistance with their health insurance needs. The new center officially opened July 1 and is located on the first floor of Peak Health's headquarters at 1085 Van Voorhis Road, Suite 140, Morgantown, WV 26505. The Member Service Center reflects Peak Health's ongoing commitment to creating a simpler, more connected healthcare experience by making it easier for members to get the support they need. Whether members have questions about their benefits, need help coordinating an appointment, want to make a bill payment, or simply prefer speaking with someone in person, the Member Service Center offers one-on-one support from knowledgeable Member Service representatives. No appointment is necessary. "As a provider-led health plan, we're always looking for ways to make healthcare easier to navigate and more personal for our members," said Amos Ross. "The new Member Service Center gives our members another convenient way to connect with our team, ask questions, and receive personalized support close to home."
