About the job

Requirements
  • You have led product in high-growth B2B SaaS at a similar level, with Product Managers reporting to you and ideally UX/design employees reporting to you.
  • You have built AI products where the intelligence is the value, rather than internal productivity tooling or a bolt-on feature, and understand how designing on top of probabilistic, fast-moving models changes discovery, user experience, iteration, reliability, and product economics.
  • You have built and scaled software products across multiple international markets, and understand how product strategy, customer needs, and execution change as the business expands.
  • You turn strategy into execution, have a bias to ship, and make and own necessary trade-offs.
  • You have moved teams from output to outcomes and led them through meaningful organizational and product change.
  • You lead directly and pragmatically, adding structure where it helps and removing it where it does not.
  • You are fluent in English at C1/C2 level. German is a plus, not a requirement.
  • You are based in Germany and can spend at least one week per month with the team in Hamburg; the time may be split across the month.
Responsibilities
  • Define where AI can fundamentally change how tradespeople run their businesses and translate those opportunities into coherent product experiences across the platform.
  • Own the approach to AI quality, reliability, evaluation, and decision boundaries so customers can confidently rely on the capabilities offered.
  • Translate company strategy into a prioritized product portfolio and clear team outcomes, driving prioritization and trade-off decisions across markets, platform, and AI.
  • Directly lead around nine Product Managers and designers, raise the bar on product thinking, develop their capabilities, and strengthen ownership across the organization.
  • Continue the shift from domains and output toward teams that own customer problems and outcomes, stay close to tradespeople through discovery, data, and experimentation, and have the autonomy to act on what they learn.
  • Scale the product across European markets, balancing shared foundations with differing customer and market needs.
  • Establish a pragmatic operating model, clear decision-making rhythms, and strong interfaces across Product, Engineering, Design, and go-to-market, measuring success by product and customer outcomes and co-owning commercial outcomes with go-to-market.
Desired Qualifications
  • German language proficiency.
