Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site vehicle maintenance, light repairs, and recall services at customer homes, workplaces, or other designated locations.
  • Perform light maintenance and repair services, including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, software updates, and recall repairs.
  • Diagnose basic vehicle concerns and determine whether repairs can be completed in the field or require shop escalation.
  • Complete work safely and efficiently in compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Accurately document services performed, including labor, parts used, and technician notes.
  • Complete and close repair orders in a timely manner to support departmental efficiency and reporting.
  • Capture and document additional recommendations during visits to support future service opportunities.
  • Provide a professional customer experience at every service visit.
  • Communicate the services being performed, timelines, and additional findings or recommendations to customers.
  • Address customer questions or concerns on-site and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Follow assigned daily schedules and routes to ensure on-time arrival and efficient service completion.
  • Promptly communicate delays or schedule changes to the Mobile Service Coordinator.
  • Minimize downtime between appointments to maintain productivity.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper stock levels of the mobile service vehicle.
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and parts are accounted for and in good working condition.
  • Follow safety protocols when operating tools and driving the mobile service vehicle.
  • Communicate with the Mobile Service Coordinator, Service Advisors, and Parts Department.
  • Provide updates on job status, parts needs, and issues that may affect service completion.
  • Support team goals by maintaining productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Represent the dealership in a mobile environment and complete service experiences to manufacturer and dealership standards.
